Whether it’s preventing or diagnosing an illness, radiology is an important diagnostic tool for health care professionals and their patients. At Gooding County Memorial Hospital (GCMH), we offer state of the art radiology equipment not normally found in a rural setting. GCMH employs only Certified Radiologic Technologists to perform your exams, each having specialized training in the type of exam being given. By using advanced equipment, patients no longer need to travel out of town to receive services typically found only in larger cities. It is our goal to provide prompt service to our patients with short or no waiting time for exams. We also work to ensure your exam results are returned to you and your provider in a timely and accurate manner. At GCMH your comfort is our concern. Ensuring your privacy and dignity, while providing you with the highest quality exam, is of utmost importance to our staff.
Appointments
The Diagnostic Imaging department is open
Monday – Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
for outpatient testing.

When scheduling appointments for Radiology
testing, please refer to the following:
X-ray services – No appointment necessary,
must have a physician order for test.
Mammogram – Appointment is required,
no physician order required.
Ultrasound– Appointment is required, must
have a physician order for testing.
CT (Computerized Tomography) – Appointment is required, must have
Physician order for testing.
MRI – Appointment is required and is
scheduled through your provider
The department also has 24-hour staff coverage
to assist in the treatment of patients coming
through the Emergency Room.
